There is a lot of reviews stating you can’t get the beads to go in. I just got my 4x 4oz pack to go in my tandem axle trailer tires with zero issues. It did take a while but to my knowledge not a single bead fell to the ground and with a little patience it’s easy. Just read the instructions and follow the steps and it will work no issue. I didn’t jack the axle up so I did the steps with the valve stem where they were when I parked it and they will blow in the tire no matter what position the valve stem is in but to me they did go a tiny bit quicker if the valve stem is in the 3 or 9 oclock position.As for how they helped with the bounce when I was between 58 to 64 mph I’m not sure yet. The product seems to work. It definitely reduces the vibration I was feeling on the highway. I give it 4 stars because while it says they can be added through the valve stem I spent more than an hour trying to do so on one tire and I don't think I even got 1oz in. I did try the different methods that were suggested but didn't seem like any made it any faster. Ended up calling a friend with a tire machine to just pop the bead. 10 minutes later and all the tires were done.

Very difficult to get to go through valve stem, but works great once its in there.

My Mickey Thompson Baja boss tires wouldn’t balance with standard weights. Tire size 37x12.5x17. Truck would shake like crazy. I decided to give these balance beads a try. I put in 13oz in each tire and WOW no more vibration or shakes/shimmy’s smooth as glass! Even 70+ mph I was skeptical at first reading reviews but this actually worked great for me!

They did remove tire vibration in my regular street tires. It is a little awkward to load through the stem. my best luck was keeping the hole in the install bottle fairly small. keep the bottle and tube at 15 of 20 degrees from the ground and keep the balls flowing slowly. Slow enough they don't build up at the stem. Watch them trickle in. IF they start to build up squeeze and let go of the bottle to clear the block.

I first used beads on Renaults and Citroens with 3 lug solid disc wheels that I couldn't balance on my balancer. Wow. Super smooth. Since then I've started using them on everything and I'm very happy with them.I should add that I've had an issue with them once. I mounted a new tire on the wheel and went to add the beads through the stem and it clogged right away. Cleared it and tried again: clogged. I took a closer look (some swearing may have taken place) and the stem necked down very small. I didn't have my drill and bits with me so I had to break the bead again and install a new stem. First, these DO follow sound and proven physics, so they should work in principal, BUT:The quantities in the charts available, published online and included, give very generic numbers, based only on the width of the tire and type of bike. For a dual-sport with 21/18" wheels with rim locks, 2 oz are given for the front wheel and 3 for the back. However, the weight required for the static balance I did before was 4.6 oz and 5.7 respectively. Therefore, double the amount spec'ed and no guidance for what to do if it's not enough, nor how to tell, etc.The product comes with special valves with "filters" to keep stuff out of the valve, which are really just a little cap added to the end. I am not a professional mechanic, but I do have a tire machine and balancer at my house, so take it for that. I run 37s' on my Superduty. I needed new tires... I have heard of these beads but have never used them. I actually dredded this job. 37" tires are hard to dismount, hard to remount, hard to lift... hard to put back on the truck, nothing fun about working with them. I talked to a few people and decided this is the way to go for big tire. I mean I could have thrown my back out putting these tires on my spin balancer... but I didn't want to. So I dismounted my old tires and to my surprise there were beads in the tire. Actually one of the tires didn't have the bag broken... so I made sure that wasn't going to be me. I opened and dumped the bag into the tire while I had the bead broken.
