This stuff works and in combination with 3M cavity wax for inside bed sides and rocker panels, I hope to keep rust away for many years/decades longer than the factory coatings would alone. The hitch and rear axle on my truck look nearly new after 6 years in the rust belt. I reapply annually in the fall and this leaves a thin, clear/slightly amber wax coating that doesn't wash off. Great on the hitch, rear axle, spare tire, shocks, brackets, sway bars, floor pans, subframes.

Used appx 6 cans to undercoat a 2021 Ram 1500 crew cab. Worked great with the spray gun handle sold on Amazon. A couple of cans seemed to leak from the spray nozzle, which was a tad messy, but the product itself was easy to spray and looks like it will be effective.

Great deal for cosmoline undercoating. I'm only giving three stars because the cans/sprayers absolutely suck. Some of them hemorrhage out around the top of the can, getting everywhere. The nozzles aren't even made to accept a small straw for shooting into cavities. Typical cavity wax wand sprayers won't fit these cans either. Like I said, the product itself is excellent. It dries into a hard, waxy coating and is running enough to get everywhere you want it. Definitely has a strong odor until it dries. Since I need to use a cavity sprayer, I'll be purchased RP-342 next time just for the cans/sprayers/wands. More expensive, but worth it to me to get into cavities and create less of a mess.

This is an order I used to rustproof a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck. Used this same product on my 2022 Colorado truck. So far it seems really good, and after making an extended length wand - about 22 inches in length using another companies spray nozzle and taping it to a thick copper wire using blue painters tape - it worked really well. You must use Gum out Carb cleaner at the end of the day to clear this out of the nozzle and spray head so that it will not set up in the wand before you use it next. I used a 1/8 " drill bit in another manufacturer's spray nozzle that is used right at the can top of the CRC can(was from a FluidFilm can), and epoxied the brass end into the drilled nozzle using JB Weld epoxy. Works great and you don't even need an expensive spray gun. Word of advic

Bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler in 2020 which I intended to be used primarily for beach trips, fishing, offroading on sand, etc. The beach where I am at is all saltwater, so I definitely wanted an undercoating that would allow me to see if rust was developing as I read those rubberized type of coatings can hide corrosion developing from within.Once my lift was installed on the Jeep a few months later, I prepped the frame and parts by spraying with purple power and pressure washing underneath to have all parts clean, the Jeep was brand new so this did not take much effort.I had bought the four pack of CRC and crawled underneath and applied one coat (two cans) to the entire frame and inside, axles, bolts, suspension parts, etc. Only thing I didn't hit was the exhaust. I'm a big fan of fluid film and for some uses I think it is a great product, but for coating it is just too runny, this product is way better than FF, if the can is warm it will spray wide and coat everything really good, it leaves a gold translucid color, once it cools down and dries it is almost invisible, but it adheres to the surface and stays, no matter how much water or pressure you use to wash your car, it stays. When you touch it, it is not sticky, it feels almost solid, but if you use your fingernail you can scrape it off. Probaby will come off with some type of solvent, but make sure you use eye protection and a mask, this thing makes a mist all around, smells weird and will render your clothes unusable, but for rust protection it is the best.

We have two 10-year old vehicles (truck and SUV), which are currently driven throughout the winter in PA. Both were rust-proofed by the dealer when new and each has spent half those years down south and the rest up north. There is surface rust appearing on the edges and lap joints of some of the underside bracketry and frame rails, where the black OEM paint is degrading, but nothing serious.
